Vulnerable man robbed in north Belfast

The PSNI are investigating a street robbery which saw a vulnerable man assaulted and knocked to the ground on Sunday morning.

The incident occurred on June 24 around 11:00 am, along an alleyway off Flax Street in North Belfast.

The victim, who uses the aid of a walking frame, was struck on the back of the head by his attacker. 

After being knocked to the floor, the attacker who is believed to be male, proceeded to take a sum of cash from the victim's pocket.

The victim was helped to his feet by a female passer-by and officers are keen to hear from her.
