33 killed in Brazilian bus crash
A tractor-trailer has slammed into a bus carrying sugar cane cutters, killing at least 33 people and injuring 13 others, according to officials in Brazil.
A police spokesman said the lorry driver lost control as he was rounding a corner and heading down a hill near a town called Miracles in the north-eastern state of Bahia.
The lorry was carrying a load of construction materials, which also slammed into the bus.
The driver of the lorry survived and is in a local hospital. Some of the others injured are in grave condition.
