Amanda Knox in talks for massive book deal
Amanda Knox is planning to sell the story of her murder trial after hiring a literary agent to negotiate what she hopes will be a lucrative book deal.
Robert Barnett, an attorney based in Washington DC, will be acting for Ms Knox (24) in discussions with publishers.
He has previously masterminded autobiography deals for Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, George W Bush and Tony Blair as well as Sarah Palin's deal with Fox News. In Ms Knox, he has another much sought-after name on his hands.
The American former exchange student has not given a proper interview since she and ex-boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito had their convictions for murdering her British flatmate Meredith Kercher overturned by an Italian court.
Media experts believe the memoirs could earn her a seven-figure sum. (© Independent News Service)
