Bears found wandering in marijuana fields
Police who uncovered two marijuana fields near Canada's border with the US had to tread carefully: 13 black bears were wandering around the crops.
The fields of about 2,300 plants were found near Christina Lake, on the Canadian side. Mountie Dan Moskaluk said the bears were docile and used to humans.
The property's owners were held on charges of production and possession of a controlled substance.
It is unclear if the bears were guarding the pot fields or if they were pets.
