Brazil collapse injures 111 people

Brazilian authorities said more than 100 people were injured after a section of stands collapsed at a car race.

Firefighters said at least 111 people were hurt - 22 critically - when the seating collapsed.

They were taken to hospitals after the accident in Brazil's southern Parana state.

At least 500 people were sitting in the section that collapsed on Sunday.

Authorities said they think the stands had structural faults that caused the collapse. But a police investigation must end before a definite cause can be determined.
