Briton dies in mountain plunge
A British man has been found dead at the foot of a ravine in the French ski resort of Les Deux Alpes, the Foreign Office has confirmed.
Jamie Rolfe, 27, was discovered during the early hours of Wednesday following a night out with friends.
Police believe he became disorientated as he made his way back to his apartment, before falling 320ft down the ravine, known locally as the Edge of the World.
It is the same ravine where two other British holidaymakers were found dead in 2009 and has claimed eight lives in the past 13 years.
A Foreign Office spokesman said Mr Rolfe's next of kin had been informed and were being provided with consular assistance.
