Briton wanted over Thailand death

A British kickboxer has been named by police in Thailand as the prime suspect in a murder.

Detectives in Phuket want to speak to Lee Aldhouse in connection with the fatal stabbing of American tourist Dashawn Longfellow.

The Briton is alleged to have attacked the US Marine after a fight in a bar on the island.

According to local media reports, Aldhouse, 28, had trained in Thai kickboxing and had lived in the country for several years.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Anukul Nuket said Mr Longfellow's body was discovered in the early hours of Saturday morning at the Yanui Paradise Resort.

Sources said British officials in Thailand were aware of the warrant for Mr Aldhouse's arrest.
