At least 19 people have been killed - including children - and more than a dozen injured when a school bus collided with another bus in Ecuador.
The accident on Friday night was in bad weather on a main road near the Pacific coast.
Authorities said it was raining heavily at the time - about 10pm local time (3am GMT on Saturday) - and that wet roads and poor lighting may have contributed to the crash.
Rescue authorities said children are among the dead and 17 people are being treated for injuries in hospital.
Guayas state Governor Luis Monge visited the crash site and expressed solidarity with the families of those killed and injured.
