Children killed in Pakistan crash

A bus carrying schoolchildren in Pakistan-held Kashmir has fallen into a canal, killing at least 12 of the youngsters.

Government official Khawaja Naeem said another two children and the bus driver are still missing following the accident in Ali Beg, about 185 miles south of Muzaffarabad.

Mr Naeem said three children were rescued after the accident.

Road accidents are common in Pakistan because of poor infrastructure and routine disregard of traffic laws.
