A fire broke out in a building meant for demolition in Prague, Czech Republic, killing eight people.
Prague firefighters spokeswoman Pavlina Adamcova said the fire broke out after in the early hours on Wednesday, and the dilapidated two-story building near Prague's main bus station collapsed before firefighters could enter.
Two people survived.
The eight victims were not identified but Czech public radio and television said they were probably homeless people.
Ms Adamcova said no nearby buildings were damaged.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the blaze.
