FBI raids home of Trump's former campaign chief

By Chad Day

FBI agents have searched one of the homes of Donald Trump's former campaign chairman Paul Manafort.

Mr Manafort's past foreign political work has been swept into the investigations into Russian interference in the 2016 US election.

Spokesman Jason Maloni said that Mr Manafort co-operated with the agents, as he has "consistently" done.

Mr Manafort has been a subject of a long-standing FBI investigation into his dealings in Ukraine and work for the country's former president, Viktor Yanukovych.

Mr Manafort has denied any wrongdoing.

He led the Trump presidential campaign for several months.
