Five Nato troops killed in blast

Five Nato service members have been killed in a roadside bombing in southern Afghanistan.

In a statement, the coalition said the five died on Thursday, but disclosed no further details about the deaths.

The deaths raise the number of foreign service members killed so far this month in Afghanistan to 51.

So far this year, at least 374 international troops have died in the war.
