Gunman hunted after US shootings
Police in San Francisco say five people have been shot and injured and they are looking for a suspect.
Police spokesman Lt Troy Dangerfield said a gunman fired near Market Street and Sixth Street. Two people were hit in the torso and are being treated for serious injuries at a hospital. Three others are being treated for minor injuries.
The shooting was a few blocks from the city's Gay Pride festivities at the Civic Centre, which had just ended for the day. There was no immediate word on whether the incident had any connection to festival goers.
Police say they are searching for a suspect who Dangerfield described as a 6ft-tall man in his 20s with dreadlocks.
