Jeb Bush kicks off Republican bid for the Oval Office
Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush has launched a Republican presidential bid with a vow to get Washington "out of the business of causing problems".
"I will campaign as I would serve, going everywhere, speaking to everyone, keeping my word, facing the issues without flinching," Mr Bush, the son and brother of two former presidents, told a packed rally in Florida.
Bush, whose wife is Mexican-born, addressed the rally in both English and Spanish in an attempt to appeal to Hispanic voters.
"In any language, my message will be an optimistic one because I am certain that we can make the decades just ahead in America the greatest time ever to be alive in this world," he said.
