Stunning Marks & Spencer's supermodel Noemie Lenoir has been found unconscious after a suicide attempt.
Lenoir — girlfriend of ex-Chelsea footballer Claude Makelele — is believed to have taken a cocktail of drugs and alcohol at their Paris home.
The Paris St Germain midfielder called emergency services after finding her slumped unconscious on the floor on Sunday, a police source said.
But Lenoir (30) — the face of campaigns for Next, Gap and Victoria's Secret — woke up minutes later and cancelled the ambulance, it was reported.
She left the house alone and was found unconscious again several hours later by a passer-by on a forest footpath.
She was rushed to hospital where was found to have consumed “large quantities” of drugs and alcohol, sources told French news agency AFP.
The news agency added: “Her life is not in danger after this act which our sources confirm was an attempted suicide.”
A source close to the model said: “After coming too, Noemie was in a state of great distress and clearly very ill. She had clearly attempted to harm herself and had fallen unconscious.
“She was rushed to a nearby hospital and treated for the effects of poisoning. It seems that she had tried to commit suicide as a cry for help. She’s now in a far better condition.”
Makelele has had a turbulent relationship with Lenoir.
They had a son Keylan in 2005, but months later she threatened to dump him after reports he was cheating on her with Page 3 girl Jamelah Asmar.
He was rumoured to be travelling back and forth between London and Paris in an effort to keep both of his women happy.
Lenoir was the face of a recent Marks & Spencer's advertising campaign alongside fellow models Twiggy, Mylene Klass and Laura Bailey.
