Nato troops killed in Aghanistan

Four Nato service members have been killed by insurgents in two separate attacks in Afghanistan.

Nato said two were killed in an insurgent attack in eastern Afghanistan and another two in an attack in the south. It did not provide their nationalities or any other details.

The attack comes a day after the Taliban shot down a US Army Chinook helicopter, killing 38 people, including 30 American troops.

The deaths today bring to 369 the number of coalition troops killed this year in Afghanistan and 46 this month.
