Two neo-Nazis on a Berlin commuter train hurled racial threats at a woman and her two children before urinating on the family, police said.
Shortly after boarding the train on Saturday, the two men began shouting racist insults at the woman and her two children, aged around five and 15.
According to multiple witnesses, the men roared "Heil Hitler" and other Nazi slogans at the family, raising their right arms in Nazi salutes.
Referring to the woman and children as "asylum seekers," the men reportedly told them "we're the master race," adding "you're not Aryan” before exposing themselves to the family and urinating on them.
National newspaper the Berliner Zeitung said the men, aged 32 and 37, were arrested at the Frankfurter Allee station after witnesses on the train called police and upon being breathalysed were found to have high blood alcohol levels.
The two men - both from Berlin's Neukölln district – are reportedly known to police to be violent right-wing criminals, reports Berliner Zeitung.
They are already on police records for robbery, theft, serious bodily harm, coercion and identifying themselves as part of anti-constitutional organisations.
German officers are now seeking the family and have issued an appeal for them to come forward.
