'No-fly' Muslim questioned in UK

The family of a US man who travelled to England by boat because he was apparently placed on a no-fly list says he has been released from custody by British authorities after being detained on arrival from a transatlantic cruise.

Muslim convert Michael Migliore, 23, who holds dual citizenship of the US and Italy, had been trying unsuccessfully for months to fly to Italy.

Mr Migliore says he believes he was placed on the no-fly list because he refused to co-operate with FBI agents after an acquaintance was charged last year over a plot to bomb a Christmas tree lighting ceremony in Portland, Oregon.

The family reported that Mr Migliore was detained on Monday upon his arrival in Southampton.

But after eight to 10 hours of questioning, he was released.
