Seven Manchester United fans killed while watching match in Nigeria

Seven people have died after a live electrical cable fell on a gathering of people watching a Manchester United match in Nigeria.

Cross River state police said another 10 people were critically injured when the wire fell on the roof of a football viewing centre in Calabar on Thursday night.

Residents said the final death toll is likely to be much higher, claiming 80 people were crammed inside at the time.
