Three killed in school buses crash

Two buses taking children home from an intermediate and a primary school have collided on a Tennessee highway, killing two children and an adult.

Another 23 people were injured in the crash.

Police did not immediately say what caused the crash that sent one of the buses on to its side. Police chief David Rausch said the adult who died was not a driver and may have been an aide.

The three people who were most seriously injured were taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Centre. Another 20 children were being treated at East Tennessee Children's Hospital.
