Tokyo knife attack: At least 15 people dead at Sagamihara facility for disabled

Fifteen people are confirmed dead and 20 have been injured in a knife attack outside Tokyo, a Japanese news agency reported

The attack took place at a building for disabled people in Sagamihara city.

Police were called to the scene just after 2.30pm local time, according to national broadcaster NHK.

The motive for the attack is unknown but NHK said the suspect claimed he that had been an employee at the facility.
