Woman charged over murder of lottery winner Abraham Shakespeare

A woman who befriended a Florida lottery winner who later went missing has been charged over his killing, five days after his body was found buried in her back garden.

Dorice "DeeDee" Moore, 37, was charged as an accessory after the fact to first-degree murder in the killing of Abraham Shakespeare, 43, who won a total of nearly £19 million in 2006 but took a £10.6 million lump sum payment.

Police say Mr Shakespeare was killed on April 6 or 7 last year at a home in a rural town east of Tampa and buried at the home next door, which according to property records, was bought by Moore and listed in the name of her boyfriend.
