
There is good advice in the Bible for those who rush to Twitter and have to apologise lamely afterwards.
The Book of Proverbs states: "Even a fool when he keeps silent is considered wise; when he closes his lips he is considered prudent."
One hopes that today's ill-advised Tweeters, known and not so well-known, will take to heart these wise words from the Bible. Or will they continue to make fools of themselves in the eyes of the world?
