Twaddell twaddle depressing

By Alf McCreary

Patience and tolerance are undoubtedly Christian virtues, but this week I lacked both when watching the BBC's Nolan Show.

Once I saw Gerry Kelly and William Humphrey on the guest list, my heart sank. Ten minutes later, after more political twaddle about the Twaddell Avenue stand-off, serious as it is, I went up to my study and read a book.

Life is too short to listen to the same kind of empty political confrontations which I have endured for the past 40 years, Lord help me.
