The increase in violent and sexual crime in Northern Ireland is a cause of major concern. The latest PSNI statistics show 46,854 crimes involving violence against the person were reported to police.

In just one 12 month period from January to December 2021 there were 3,865 crimes of a sexual nature reported to the PSNI.
