Four men convicted of fisheries offences 

Four men were found guilty of fisheries offences today at Downpatrick Court.

Mateusz Burkowski from New Meadow Row, Castlewellan has been convicted of the following fisheries offences:
· Section 41(1)- Fishing by unlicenced and unfair means
· Section 164 – Trespass on a fishery

Mr Burkowski was fined £200, an offender levy of £15, costs of £75 and court costs of £19

Also at the same court, Kluk Krzysztof from Onslow Parade, Belfast has been convicted at Downpatrick Court today of the following fisheries offences:
· Section 41(1)- Fishing by unlicenced and unfair means
· BL 72 (a)- Taking pike in excess of the permitted two per day

Mr Krzysztof was fined £150, an offender levy of £15, costs of £100 and court costs of £19

Also at the same court, Aiden Lawless from Mourne Park, Castlewellan has been convicted of the following fisheries offences:
· Section 41(1)- Fishing by unlicenced and unfair means
· Section 183 – Impeding an officer

Mr Lawless was fined £125, an offender levy of £15, costs of £75 and court costs of £19

Also at the same court, Artur Roszczybiuk from Omeath Street, Belfast has been convicted of the following fisheries offences:
· Section 41(1)- Fishing by unlicenced and unfair means
· BL 72 (a)- Taking pike in excess of the permitted two per day
· Section 183 – Impeding an officer

Mr Roszczybiuk was fined £250, an offender levy of £15, costs of £100 and court costs of £19
