How mums nose all about nappies
Professors from the University of Tokyo have spilled blood, sweat, tears and God knows how much money on coming up with a new invention they hope will transform the life of every parent.
They've come up with the 'talking diaper' – a disposable device which tells you exactly what's going on inside a nappy, including temperature and moisture, so you don't need to strip it off to find out.
The inventors proudly unveiled the new kit at an academic conference in San Francisco this week where lots of clever people got together to talk poo.
I hate to be so dismissive about someone else's hard work and innovation but us mums have had our own nappy communication device for eons – it's called your nose.
