Glasgow shows its real bravehearts
It's a cliche but it's true; sometimes it takes the worst of times to bring out the best of people.
The reaction of passing Glaswegians to the shocking, sudden helicopter crash into the much loved Clutha pub is a testimony to the continued existence of community, a notion the London-based media keep telling us is long dead.
It's impressive enough that so many ran to the site to help; even more so when you consider that in the early stages of forming a human chain to get victims out, the threat of a sudden explosion was pressing. A humbling thought.
