A unique chance to savour city's buildings, old and new
This weekend the public will be given the golden opportunity to see up close some of the landmark buildings in the history of Belfast, along with more modern engineering projects.
It's all part of the Open House Festival, organised by PLACE, which promotes architecture, design and planning.
Everyone will have his or her favourite project to view, but there is also an opportunity to range much wider and to learn a great deal more about Belfast and its built heritage, and to encounter surprises.
It is a miracle that so much has survived despite the Troubles and the planners.
So get out, look up and around, and savour it all.
