Anna's the write stuff on her return home to discuss book
Northern Ireland continues to punch above its weight in the creative arts.
The latest writer to join the pantheon of greats from the province, Anna Burns, was given a fitting reception when she appeared at the Lyric Theatre in Belfast to discuss her Man Booker Prize-winning novel Milkman.
It is one of the most prestigious prizes in literature and Anna is the first local author to win it.
The Troubles have been a rich field for novelists to mine but Anna brought the story telling to a new level, exploring the psychological pressures faced by people trying to stay anonymous in a society where being noticed was dangerous.
