Baby Faith was here a short time but her legacy lives on
What courage and faith Joanne Wilson, supported by her husband Philip, had to carry her baby full term even though she knew the infant would not survive long. But the aptly named Faith Isabella lived for an astonishing 15 days with the disorder anencephaly.
A video of the infant's life has attracted huge online interest and has proved to be hugely inspiring to other couples who have faced, or may face, a similar daunting diagnosis. Philip and Joanne proved that every second spent with their baby was precious and they are left with wonderful memories. As the charity they worked with says - every child counts.
