Ballinamallard's Irish Cup heroes are already winners
One of the beauties of sport is that occasionally the small teams take the limelight, and Ballinamallard United football club now stand just 90 minutes from sporting greatness.
Their victory over Warrenpoint Town on Saturday has booked them an Irish Cup final place against Crusaders at Windsor Park on May 4. Most of the village's 1,400 population, and many supporters elsewhere, will flock to Windsor Park to cheer them on.
All non-Crusaders fans will be supporting the players from Fermanagh, but whatever happens, they have already made their mark in history by reaching the final. In that sense they are already winners.
