Balmoral's still producing the goods after 150 years
For the past 150 years the Balmoral Show has been showcasing Northern Ireland's farming and agri-food industries. That is a proud history and the industries also have much to be proud about, employing some 40,000 people and generating £4.6bn in exports.
Recently extended to four days, the show is not just a shop window on the industries that provide the food and drink on our tables, but is also a great fun day out for rural and urban dwellers. And this Saturday, in keeping with its royal associations, the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be shown on a big screen. Pomp and produce, it's all at the show.
