Black and white TV viewers may lead colourful lives

With our High Streets offering a multiplicity of modern means of communication ­- including LED, LCD and plasma screen televisions, you might be surprised to learn if anyone in Northern Ireland is still watching black and white television

However, they are doing so, and there is over 500 of them. It has been revealed by TV Licensing that there were 535 black and white only TV licences in Northern Ireland at the end of September.

Whether programmes look better in black and white is a moot point, but those people who view such sets may find that their lives are colourful enough already.
