Brian's donation strikes a chord for a worthy cause
Fender Stratocasters were the guitars of choice for the stars who created rock music. Practically every pop star played the instrument at some stage of their career, turning the guitar into an icon in its own right.
Now a unique collection of the instruments is to go under the hammer in Northern Ireland for charity. Brian Bennett is putting his collection of 19 guitars, many of them signed by stars, up for auction to raise money for the Northern Ireland Hospice. It is his tribute to his late mother who was a dedicated Hospice volunteer, and to help fund its invaluable work. It is an inspirational gesture which strikes the right note for the right cause.
