Cancer Fund for Children's vital work deserves support
A cancer diagnosis at any age can be devastating, but is particuarly difficult to deal with when it involves children. Karen Brown knows that all too well, as her brother Graeme died from the disease at the age of 15 some 23 years ago, and then her baby son was diagnosed with a rare form of the disease two years ago.
Karen's whole family - like so many others - was affected by the diagnosis. Charity the Cancer Fund for Children played a vital role in supporting the family and is asking the public to back its summer fundraising appeal.
Cancer can be a very isolating experience, but the charity's work means no one needs to be alone. Help it help others.
