Charity gala an apt tribute to inspirational Lindsay

Editor's Viewpoint

Lindsay Emerson achieved much in a life cut tragically short by a brain tumour. The young Banbridge woman died at 23, just two years into her married life, but had already brought hope to people in developing countries who previously had none.

She had a compassion for those less fortunate than herself and a burning desire to make a difference.

Now, 10 years after her death, her family are holding an online auction and gala evening to celebrate her life and raise funds for one of her favourite charities. Their grief is still apparent, but so too is their pride in Lindsay. Their event is a fitting tribute to a remarkable young woman.
