Dis-dress averted as bride's gown is cleaned up in a jiffy

Editor's Viewpoint

The appropriately named Jiffy Dry Cleaners in Strabane lived up to their name by their speedy clean-up of a bride's dress which had been stained by a child's drink.

They managed to remove the stain within an hour, not only saving the day for bride Catherine Barr, but also giving her a great story to tell at her reception. She never imagined she would spend part of her big day sitting in her underwear in a toilet sipping champagne while the cleaners worked their magic. It was a speedy example of her wedding vow - for better or worse.

In a very short space of time Catherine had experienced both sides of that coin, but all ended well.
