Dissident republicans have truly earned 'lowlife' label
If anyone was naive enough to believe the dissident republicans who murdered journalist Lyra McKee in Londonderry were open to rational or even humane debate, the answer was writ large on the walls near where she was shot.
Far from being apologetic about their reckless incompetence, the group has threatened to kill anyone giving information about the killing to police and boasted that the 'IRA is here to stay'.
Like all those who murder in the name of politics, they want to transfer their mark of Cain onto those who would act as good citizens, by branding them informers.
The dissidents have reserved a special entry for themselves in the lexicon of lowlife.
