Cormac Neeson is the epitome of a hard rocker, as befits a man who toured as support for AC/DC, but that image is in stark contrast to his loving words in an interview with this newspaper about Dabhog, his four-year-old son, who was born premature and with Down's syndrome.
The love of a parent is a world removed from the commercially driven life of a pop star. While his son has challenges, he is also a gift who has brought much joy to his family, and Cormac's interview, his role as ambassador for Mencap and his touching song Broken Wing will help others relate to the journey that he and his wife Louise have taken and which others also face.
