Editor's Viewpoint: Game of Thrones may be over but it has left a lasting legacy
The mighty series of Game of Thrones has finally finished, and not without controversy among devotees who argue about how it ought to have ended.
Without doubt, however, this iconic series, much of which was filmed here, has put Northern Ireland on the world map.
Ballintoy, the Dark Hedges and other local locations will continue to attract many visitors for a long time to come.
Already the series has generated millions of pounds for our economy, and has given a world exposure to many talented Northern Ireland actors and film-makers.

The series has ended, but the stories and the memories will undoubtedly live on.
