Editor's Viewpoint: Inspirational family

The indomitable spirit of little Oscar Knox, the four-year-old Belfast boy suffering from a rare form of cancer, continues to amaze us all. The treatment for his condition is very severe but the child has also fought back from a near fatal lung collapse which left his parents fearing the worse.

The public has shown astonishing generosity in raising £250,000 for Oscar's treatment, but how can anyone put a price on a child's life or the devotion of his parents, Stephen and Leona, whose emotions are constantly see-sawing in line with their son's ever-changing health status? They are an inspiring family and we continue to hope that they all gain the positive outcome they so desperately yearn for.
