Editor's Viewpoint: Jaime Quinsey living proof of State's failure over legacy issues
today we publish an interview with Jaime Quinsey, whose brother Mark died alongside fellow soldier Patrick Azimkar in a dissident republican attack at Massereene Army base 10 years ago.
Jaime, who lives in Australia, could not attend yesterday's unveiling of a memorial bench to honour the soldiers because it would have been too painful. In the interview, she speaks of her anger that the Real IRA killers remain free while her family has been destroyed.
If Karen Bradley wants to know the real impact of piecemeal legacy policies, she should print a copy of Jaime's searing words and glue them to the inside of her ministerial red box.
