Editor's Viewpoint: Lined up for glory

Sport in Northern Ireland has often been a source of division in the past, but this weekend is the time for the whole province to get behind the Ulster rugby team as they attempt to reach the final of the Heineken Cup.

This year the team has been a fine advertisement for Northern Ireland and they have a favourite's chance of beating Edinburgh tomorrow afternoon.

This is their opportunity to reprise the glory days of 1999 when Ulster won the trophy and many believe this is a better team. Victory tomorrow would set up a potential all-Irish final which would be an enormous boost to the sport in all parts of the island and further positive publicity for this part of it.
