Editor's Viewpoint: Playing for Harry

Harry Gregg is one of the sporting legends of Northern Ireland who also has an iconic place in the history of Manchester United. He was one of their outstanding goalkeepers, and he was also one of the heroes of the 1958 Munich air crash disaster.

It is therefore entirely fitting that Man United will be fielding a team against a local representative side in Belfast as a testimonial to one of their most-loved figures who is held in the highest regard in his native Northern Ireland.

Harry was an exemplary clubman on and off the pitch, and everyone will wish him well for his testimonial here in a few months time.
