Editor's Viewpoint: Rugby dream lives

The Ulster rugby team deserves every congratulation in reaching the Heineken Cup final after a tough game against Edinburgh which resulted in a narrow win on Saturday.

Everyone involved deserves praise, including the players, the chief coach Brian McLaughlin and the many thousands of fans who travelled to Dublin to cheer their team on.

The final next month at Twickenham, the headquarters of English rugby, will be an all-Ireland affair between Ulster and the fancied Leinster. However, anything can happen, and the depth of support for Ulster at Twickenham and back home will be vital for the red and whites in this already stirring encounter.
