Editor's Viewpoint: We’re certainly no mugs where coffee is concerned
If you want a really good cup of coffee then head to Belfast or five other towns dotted around Northern Ireland.
Eleven of the top 100 coffee outlets in Ireland are on this side of the border, according to a new survey. Of course, not everyone will agree on who serves up the best flat white or mocha or whatever, but what is undeniable is that it has become our favourite beverage.
The growth in outlets, including the outstanding independents in the survey, has been phenomenal and it seems we have all turned into the characters in Friends who met to discuss work, love and life in their local coffee shop. Like them, our love of coffee isn’t likely to change any time soon.
