Former Ulster player making great strides for good cause
Stephen Bell has put his best foot forward so that youngsters can share his love for the great outdoors on this beautiful island.
The former Ulster Rugby player walked from Cork to Ballintoy to raise funds for an educational project, which in itself was a marvellous achievement. But even more remarkable, he did it in his bare feet during the hot summer weather.
As a fitness instructor, he had the stamina to complete the trek, but even more impressive was the determination to help a low-profile cause.
Hopefully his efforts will kick-start greater interest in the initiative and enable it to go on to greater things.
