Harry and Meghan are set on walking their own path
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are keeping to their promise to do things their way. Not only did they go against convention by not giving their first-born son a courtesy title - he will be known as Master - but by giving him the first name of Archie, which was a complete surprise, they delighted bookies.
Northern Ireland had its own link to the royal baby, with Holywood couple Megan and Jack Stacey's son, born on Saturday, also being named Archie.
But whether royal or commoner, both families share a huge delight in their new arrivals, and as always on such occasions they are the subjects of our best wishes.
