John hits the heights with window cleaning business
It is a job which would lead most of us trembling with fear. Imagine cleaning the windows in some of Belfast's highest buildings or dangling from a rope to paint one of Harland & Wolff's giant cranes. But it is all in a day's work for John Kelly and his intrepid staff who are all experienced climbers. And it is certainly helping him make a mountain of cash with an annual turnover of £250,000.
His is an example of a true entrepreneur, spotting a gap in the market, and cleaning up as a result. Yet he finds scaling the buildings easier than handling the red tape which comes with running a company. Still he has proved to have not only a head for heights but also a head for business.
